Solid Waste Diversion Rate

Thank you Livermore residents and businesses for keeping recyclables and organics out of the landfill.

The City of Livermore has a solid waste diversion rate goal of 75%. As of 2022 Livermore’s solid waste diversion rate is 70%.

Residents and businesses are doing a great job of sorting recyclables and organics; keeping these materials out of the garbage container diverts them from the landfill and conserves resources.
